Decorative Concrete

Stunning designs built to last a lifetime.

Stamping, Polishing, Staining

Concrete can be altered to be more decorative by adding certain materials to a mix before it is poured. These materials can include sand, gravel, crushed glass, or other minerals. There is also another popular technique in the concrete word referred to as stamped concrete. This option can be used to create a variety of patterns and designs that will add visual interest to any property. Additionally, it can be made to look like other materials such as stone or brick and combined with other useful techniques such as staining and polishing. Stamped concrete is created by adding a color hardener to the mix before it is poured. This will give the slab a bright, vibrant color that will last for years. After the concrete has been poured, a stamping tool is used to press into the surface and create the desired pattern. The stamping tool can be made from a variety of materials, including wood, metal, or plastic. After the stamping is complete, a sealer is applied to the surface to protect it from fading and staining. This is just one technique of many that we use here at New Braunfels Concrete.

Looks Like Pavers, Tough Like Concrete

Pavers have been growing in popularity for homeowners and business-owners in recent years. One of the reasons for this is because they are incredibly versatile. These tiny bricks and stones come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors to match most design styles. Compared to concrete however, there durability and lifespan falls significantly short. Concrete will last years longer than pavers but can be designed to look like pavers. Bringing the best of both worlds!
